When silence burns ears.
Mosquitos thick like smoke.
The tide lays flat for miles.
The earth opens wide,
Spitting magma like geyser.
Across the sea and in a world apart,
Clever means efficiency breeds.
Giants rising from the depths,
Humans dare, while some succeed.
In a small house by the sea,
A family stirred and yells in joy.
Reading of Earth ending,
Stones thrown and ripples made.
Listlessly ebbing,
A pattern of tides coming and leaving.
